Constantin Valdor was the Chief Custodian to the Emperor as head of the Adeptus Custodes at the time of the Horus Heresy.

He and his forces were responsible for killing at least three of the greatest psykers of the Thousand Sons and routing a force much more numerous than their own, however little else is known after this. He was also responsible for saving Bjorn when his arm was corrupted by the sorcerous powers of a Thousand Sons psyker. Valdor sliced Bjorn's arm off to prevent the corruption from overrunning his body.

It is unknown what role Valdor played during the rest of the Horus Heresy. It is likely however that he would have taken no active role in the defence of the Imperial Palace due to being too far from Terra and that he would most likely arrived on Terra after the defeat of Horus and the ascension of the Emperor to the Golden Throne. If his force was travelling with Leman Russ then he and the Custodes would have been trapped fighting the Alpha Legion in space while the White Scars returned to defend Terra.
